Fred J. Carreo
1939-2015
Those we love don't go away.
They walk beside us everyday.
Unseen, unheard but always near,
Still loved, still missed and very dear.
This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Fred J. Carreo, 75, born on December 30, 1939 and passed away on September 17, 2015. We will remember him forever. Fred was unique in everyway. He was the ultimate provider who had the biggest heart a person can have. He was the type of person you wanted on your side. He will be greatly missed and never forgotten for who he was and how he touched us all.
Many would say that God broke the mold after Fred was created. This has been a known fact to his family and friends. Fred will be dearly missed by wife Marcia with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage, children Andrea of Phoenix, Amarjit of Rishikesh, India, Nicole of Scottsdale, Arizona, Robyn Fabiano and husband Dave of Boston, Massechusetts, and Michael of Los Angeles, California. Fred was also a proud grandfather of Jeffrey, Gianna, Lexie, and Tyler and cherished brother to Marilyn Zazzara, brother-in-law Bob Zazzara and adored Uncle to nieces Cheryl and Lynn Zazzara, nephews Michael and Bobby Zazzara.
The family greatly appreciates the compassionate care provided for Fred and the family by Hospice of the Valley. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to Hospice of the Valley in memory of Fred, 1510 East Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014.
